Itinerary
Our Machu Picchu tour by train 2 days, we will pick you up from your hotel at around 6:50, from Cusco, we will drive to the most convenient train station, according to availability at the booking time, can be to Poroy train station or Ollantaytambo train station,n these two are the main ones.
During the train journey along the Urubamba River, you will see snow-capped mountains, amazing Inca terraces, and more Inca sites. Once you get closer to Machu Picchu town, you will enter the cloud forest with a lot of vegetation like bromeliads and ferns. once we arrive at Aguas Calientes train station our representatives will be waiting for you outside of the train station and take you to your hotel to check in then you will have a free afternoon to visit the hot springs or in case you want some walking you can visit Mandor gardens with its amazing waterfall or the Machu Picchu museum (Mario Chavez ballon) and it’s garden with lots of orchids end of the day.
After early breakfast your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel then you will go to the bus station in order to take the bus to the Machu Picchu Inca site, the wonder of the world once you arrive you will have a guided tour for two hours where you will visit the most important temples, after the guided tour you will have your free time in order to explore more if you have permits to hike either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain that will be your next adventure.
Then you will take a bus to Machu Picchu town and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our bus driver will be waiting for you with the Machu Picchu Soul logo and take you back to Cuzco at the end of the Machu Picchu by train tour 2 days!! then you can relax in Cusco. Which train is included in the tour?
In our Machu Picchu tour, 2 days, it is included the expedition train round-trip. It is the regular train that goes to Machu Picchu, leaving from the Ollantaytambo train station.
Can I upgrade to the Vistadome train?
Yes, you can! Just let us know when you make your reservation. The extra cost is $35 USD for one way or $70 USD for a round trip. You can choose either option. This train also offers beautiful panoramic views!
How long can I stay at Machu Picchu?
The Usual time is 3 hours, after that you have to exit Machu Picchu according to the new regulations, you can only one way once you finish your circuit, you have to exit and you can not go back to the citadel

In Machu Picchu, you can stay only for 2 or at most 3 hours with a tour guide, after that you have to exit the place
