Day 1: From Lima to Ica – Wineries, Plaza, and Huacachina Oasis
Your adventure begins with a 7:00 AM departure from Lima in the comfort of our private vehicle. Along the way, we’ll stop at a renowned winery, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and taste some of Peru’s finest wines and pisco. Next, we’ll head to Ica’s charming Main Plaza, where you can soak in the local culture and history. By midday, we’ll arrive at the iconic Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by towering sand dunes. After checking into your hotel, spend the afternoon exploring the desert with thrilling dune buggy rides or simply relaxing by the oasis.
Day 2: Wildlife and Natural Wonders – Ballestas Islands and Paracas Reserve
We’ll start early, leaving Huacachina at 6:00 AM and heading to the Chaco Wharf. From here, we’ll embark on a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, often referred to as the “Galapagos of Peru,” to see an array of marine life, including sea lions, penguins, and exotic birds. After the tour, we’ll explore the stunning Paracas National Reserve, where you’ll witness the striking Red Beach and the unique desert-meets-ocean landscapes.
