Next, we’ll head to Ica’s charming Main Plaza, where you can soak in the local culture and history. By midday, we’ll arrive at the iconic Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by towering sand dunes. Day 2: Wildlife and Natural Wonders – Ballestas Islands and Paracas Reserve
We’ll start early, leaving Huacachina at 6:00 AM and heading to the Chaco Wharf. From here, we’ll embark on a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, often referred to as the “Galapagos of Peru,” to see an array of marine life, including sea lions, penguins, and exotic birds. 7:00 AM – Departure from Huacachina
Rise early for a day filled with incredible natural beauty and wildlife. After breakfast, we’ll leave Huacachina and drive toward the Paracas region, arriving at the Chaco Wharf in time for our morning adventure.
8:30 AM – Boat Tour to the Ballestas Islands
From the Chaco Wharf, embark on a guided boat tour to the famous Ballestas Islands, often called the “Galapagos of Peru.” Marvel at the incredible biodiversity as you glide past dramatic rock formations.
